Believe me when I say that there is no big secret to losing weight, just balance and moderation. If you eat large portions on top of unhealthy foods your body will show it! It's not that complicated... just action, reaction. Now let me give you some tips to help you stay on track.  

 

1. Counting of carbohydrates and calories is not necessary and no fun. PORTION SIZE and MODERATION is the key.

 

2. Remember, the difference between a dream and a goal is a deadline. So set up a deadline right now and start to detox your mind from those bad habits that are holding you back and start reaching your true physical potential.

 

3. NEVER, NEVER consume less than 1200 calories per day on any diet. 


4. Now, set up a realistic goal (deadline) and remember that weight loss is a long-term process. It probably took you some time to gain those extra pounds, and if you try to lose them in a week you will probably end up being frustrated and harming your body. Instead, try to learn new eating habits that will help you change your lifestyle in order to achieve a healthy weight: strive to lose a pound or 2 per week. 

 

5. Chips, candy bars and soda HAVE TO GO TODAY. Replace them with a healthy snack and a refreshing glass of water.

 

6. Be very careful with low carb diets, keep in mind that carbohydrates are the #1 fuel source for your body, not to mention your brain. Do not starve your body, instead fuel your active-self with proper nutrition.
